    As with conjunctivitis ,blepharitis is assessed by Slit Lamp examination,which is the optometrists microscope ,once again straight forward and part of a routine exam by skilled person ,some GPs have a slit lamp ,but generally optometrists are the first port of call ,therapeutic optometrists can write Rxs for treatment on the spot
