    Most high protein, low carb diets are higher in fat and saturated fats. They avoid certain vegetables, whole grains and fruits - a risky approach, since unprocessed produce is packed with vitamins, minerals, fibre and water; all essential to good health as well as sustainable weight loss. Don't cut out food groups - a balanced diet is recommended with daily physical activity.

    Low carb diets may cause loss of lean muscle mass and bad breath!

    As Arlene mentioned above, dont cut out food groups to lose wieght- a balanced approach is recommended.
