    In majority of cases, cataracts progress very gradually. Most people will notice gradual reduction in clarity of vision. It will affect the ability to see fine print, TV subtitles, road signs. Most people will try to use brittle light that will not be as effective as desired. Both eyes are usually affected, one eye more than the other.
