Position during sex or legs in the air won't help. But, having sex just before ovulation which is around day 10-13 (counting from the first day of your period) if you have a regular 28 day cycle will improve your chances of conceiving. If your cycle is longer, say 35 days, your most fertile time is around day 17-20

The most important thing to do in terms of trying naturally is to have intercourse prior to ovulation. A urine ovulation kit can help guide you and you can purchase this from any chemist. You can also check for signs such as a change in your cervical mucous. Your partner should be ejaculating regularly as well, as the evidence recommends that sperm quality is best when a man ejaculates regularly. Positions during intercourse do not matter. To improve your overall chances, it's important to also look after your general health, healthy balanced diet, exercise, reduce alcohol intake, take your prenatal supplements (your partner can take Menevit as well) and if you are unsuccessful after trying for a while, seek a consultation from your GP or see a fertility specialist.
