Will taking a higher dose of Vit D pills bring my levels up faster

My Vit D level is at 45 and apparently it needs to be at 75. I am also trying to get pregnant so want to make sure my Vit D levels are good.

I've been told to take 2 tablets (2000IU).
If I take 3 tablets a day, will this bring my levels up quicker, and how soo will it take to get my level up to 75?

    Thanks.

I would advise 5000IU per day for three months and then retest, you may want to use a Vitamin D Forte drop product instead of capsules
