I have been suffering pain in my left shoulder for the last 3 months. I experience pain in my shoulder when I lift my left arm above my shoulder. After having an ultrasound of my shoulder by a radiologist, it was found that I have shoulder bursitis.
Treatment:
1. GP prescribed ibuprofen and I have been taking it 3 times a day for the past one month but there's not have much pain relief.
2. Done a few sessions of physiotherapy but they were not so useful.
3. Applied ice packs but my condition has not improved.
4. GP suggests corticosteroid injections.
Should I go for cortisol injection or continue physiotherapy sessions? Is cortisol a permanent solution?
