My wife was diagnosed with high blood pressure. She has a history of that and last year was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy. All was good till recently when she had her blood pressure checked. It turned out to be 166/110. The GP gave her medication and since then (it's been 5 days now), her blood pressure is hovering around 141/90. Should she go consult a cardiologist?
