    Long term staph skin infection

I am fighting a losing battle with a staph skin infection that has recurred on and off over a number of years now. This time I have had it for over a year. It is causing scarring. Antibiotics and topical treatments have done nothing to get rid of it permanently. I am at a loss as to what to do and who to see to get effective treatment. I also think my 12-year-old daughter has a staph infection in and around her nose mainly although nowhere near as bad as mine, which is on my thighs, groin, armpits, breasts and stomach.

    What should I do?
