Invasive surgery based on PSA results

I was referred to a urologist based on my recent PSA readings; for example, the test results I have at hand state the following data:

    (21 Jul'15 - 5.6) (2 Dec'15 - 4.1) (5 Dec'16 - 5.50) (26 Apr'18 - 10)

The report on the recent April test states that total PSA readings between 10 and 20 ug/L cause other benign outcomes such as urinary tract infection, prostatitis and prostatic neoplasia should be considered. Urological follow-up is recommended.

I have had a digital examination in my local surgery where the doctor found no prostate swelling. I have no such symptoms that are suggested. My GP sent me for an ultrasound with the result being a normal size prostate.

I would be pleased to hear any comments before I commit to the invasive surgery.
