    Shrinking thyroid nodules

Can anyone help me find someone that performs laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation or ethanol ablation therapy for shrinking benign thyroid nodules in Australia? I live in Qld but will travel. I am looking for an effective treatment that does not remove my thyroid.

Good morning. I am a head and neck and thyroid / parathyroid surgeon. Last month I returned to Australia from New York where I have been practicing for the past decade. I was one of the early adopters of radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules  in New York, performing the first procedure in the city in August 2019.

I am pleased to announce that I will be starting a radiofrequency ablation program for Thyroid Nodules in Melbourne next month (March 2021).

I will post again once details are finalized. There will be an out-of-pocket charge for the procedure as in the United States as at the current time there is no Medicare or private health insurance reimbursement.
