    Chronic OA in spine with severe neck spasms

    Have suffered with OA for some years. Particularly bad in spinal areas. For the last 2 years I have been getting severe spasms on the right side of my neck into my brain area. A recent cervical X-ray shows advanced OA within almost all disc levels with loss of disc height, end plate sclerosis and osteophyte formation. There is multi level facet joint arthritis. No evidence of spondylolisthesis. My GP suggestion of injections does not sound good to me and I wonder if someone could tell me how best to treat and live with this as I know it will continue to deteriorate.
