    Tethered ovary and endometriosis pain

After a recent pelvic ultrasound to investigate pain from an ovarian cyst rupturing, I was told my left ovary is also tethered to my uterus. I have had two previous laparoscopies - one for an ovarian cyst (same side) and one to have a small amount of endometriosis removed. Since the recent episode, I have had bouts of sharp pain in the vicinity of my left ovary, the most recent 2 nights ago when I stretched in bed and felt an overwhelming sharp pain for about 10 seconds then a dull ache with occasional sharp pain since. My left abdomen feels slightly swollen and the pain is preventing me from exercising as normal. I have had to wait 4 months to get an appointment with a gynaecologist and have another month to wait. Does this sound like something I need more immediate treatment for, or should I just wait it out and put up with the pain? I'm also wondering what treatment for the tethered ovary could be?
