    Ovary volume and infertility issues

I am 25 and have been trying to conceive for the last 8 months with no hint of success. My husband and I already have a 2yr old daughter, our pregnancy with her was a shock as we weren't trying. When I was younger I had my appendix removed and they found a large sack of puss which had burst and was a huge source of my pain. The surgeon said I would have trouble conceiving and have an increased risk of ectopic pregnancies. I was young when it happened and don't know any further info. I had a pelvic U/S just over a month ago to check for PCOS and my report shows that my ovary volume on the left side is low. My report says: The endometrium is uniform and 15mm thick, late proliferative stage. Right ovary 38 x 23 x 26mm, volume 11mls, 15 follicles up to 7mm Left ovary 41 x 32 x 23mm, volume 2mls, 3 follicles - largest 18mm No free pelvic fluid Mum had a hysterectomy at 45 and grandma at 40. All pain (period and ovulation pain) has been on left lately. What does this mean? What are our options from here?
