The front of the ankle area on both feet hurts each morning when walking after waking?

I stand for most of the day at work, wear Asics runners - It is becoming unbearable each morning though after waking & trying to get out of bed. Should I try new shoes, podiatrist, acupuncture??

    Hi Dishane,

There are a number of possible causes for your foot pain, and certainly jobs that require you stand in the one location for long periods of time, particularly if it is on concrete, can result in the type of pain you have described. A rubber mat postioned under where you stand may also assist. As you have already made a positvie start with good cushioning footwear, I would recommend you seek an assessment from a podiatrist, who shall perform and thorough biomechanical assessment and offer some treatment options.

    I hope this helps.
