Does the very beginning of pressure in one eye mean I have Glaucoma?

    Related Topic
After having eye health test for NSW drivers license before turning 76 yrs old my optomerist found that my left eye that has some pressure. It was described on my form as follows: visual field in degrees- lower left of left eye only 20degrees quadrant. My eye specialist gave me a script for Xalantan drops to apply before my next visit and ordered a MRI because I had a severe head injury with a massive haematoma of the left frontal lobe with swollen brains & swollen black eyes, he detected nerve damage. Does this mean I have glaucoma. My right eye does not suffer pressure. I am worried as I have a brand new car and love to drive. I was told the Xalatan drops were to reduce the pressure. My optometrist ticked the box stating glaucoma. I do have to return to my eye specialist following the drops over 6 weeks & my brain MRI. I also have the very beginnings of cataracts I believe in both eyes but I reckon my vision is quite good, I only wear glasses for reading.

It is hard to get a clear picture here but it seems you may have vision loss from 2 pathologies; the head injury and glaucoma.

Until the MRI is done it would be unclear how much each contributes to the vision loss but with high eye pressure (IOP) as well even if in just one eye it is reasonable to say you have glaucoma, hence the Xalatan.
