    Any advice on my sudden hearing loss?

    Occurred during hammering and felt like a sudden blockage in my ear. Had audiological exam, including speech recognition, but ear functions mainly similar to previous exam in 2014. Still have blocked feeling in my left ear and having difficulty understanding some speech, particularly if voice raised. Advice please?

    Did you have  a Tympanomtry test conducted. This test gives a  very objective information if there is any fluid or middle ear pathology. Also see your GP. You may need to see an ENT specialist after that....
