    What is the difference between Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and lipiflow for the treatment of dry eyes?

    Hi, I suffer from chronic dry eyes, I have tried it all from every single type of eye drop and ointment to medicated eye drops, using hot wash cloths over my eyes, washing my eyes with cold water and everything in between. I have been doing research on other treatments, I have looked into IPL and lipiflow and I am willing to try anything to stop the discomfort I have everyday. What are the differences between the two? Are they effective? Is this available at an optometrist or ophthalmologist? And what is the approximate cost? Thank you.
