  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

Can I possibly have Fructose intolerance or Coeliac disease?

I think I need to describe my symptoms to start with... 1) my main concern is my brain fog. I've had this chronically for about a year now and it seems to be getting worse. It feels as if I'm in a dream all day and I can't focus on anything. I often start conversations and forget what I was talking about completely. I've taken anti depressants but I had no improvements and I don't particularly feel depressed. I thought it may have been stress related but I don't think that is the case anymore 2) I've started having issues with my stomach in the last 2 months. I noticed it one day after having a glass of apple juice and needed the toilet within 2 mins. Frequently I have meals and need the toilet straight away, (often not solid or solid enough) I haven't had any issues like this before but I do enjoy sweet things and possibly have too much sugar each day. I don't know if it's just IBS but I feel these two things are related in some way. Possible medication for IBS? Thanks in advance
