What can I do about female hair loss?

Hi, I'm a 32 year old female with hair loss for the last 12 months. I saw a dermatologist four months into the hair loss and all I was given was minoxidil. Funny enough the hair loss stopped for three months and I've been losing hair again for the last four months. Back several weeks ago I got a second opinion from a dermatologist and was prescribe spiro. Unfortunately I have been reluctant in taking this as I want to start a family eventually. I've been on BC for ten years and not sure whether this is now impacting my body. The last dermo did take a pic of my scalp and said normal people usually grow three strands of hair in a single follicle unfortunately for me mines come to a point of just 1-2 hairs which has then caused diffuse thinning all over. I'm really finding it tough and not sure what to do now. What's the difference between TE and AGA? . Should I get a third opinion? If so are there any blood works I should consider take?.
