What is appropriate treatment for incontinence?

Hi, I am 36 and I have bladder leakage. I have a sense of urgency. However urine doesn't always come out. First I have an urgency to go to the toilet and do, I then have an urge to come back again and nothing comes out but takes a further 5 minutes for the urine to void, if I don't go for the second time it just leaks out not a lot but enough to be noticeable to myself.

My GP sent me to a physio who specialises in women's incontinence. She has done an internal exam and says my pelvic muscles are too tight, what can I do for to tight pelvic muscles?
