    Is giving up a sugar categorically a good thing?

    I have given up sugar (sucrose, fructose, glucose) for 9 months now and feel fantastic but wondered if there were any negatives that I should be aware of?

    I'm so glad it's working out for you. Reducing added sugar is a really good step for your health. 
    Do you still eat fruit? The only thing you might be missing out on is the nutrients, including phytochemicals and antioxidants that are contained in fruit, which are shown to reduce your risk of cancer and other chronic diseases.
