    Has my Orthodontist given me the right treatment for crooked teeth?

    As a teenager I spent thousands on dental work braces etc to straighten my teeth. Intially my teeth were straight after treatment however ten years later they are very much crooked again.

    I never received a retainer nor was instructed to wear one after getting my braces removed, I have since learnt from several dentists that this is the reason my teeth are crooked.

    I made a appointment to see my old orthodontist and would like to know if I am within reason to request corrective treatment free of charge.

    I have been quoted $5000 from a dentist to fix my teeth again.
