    Why is my ear blocked?

    36yo, suffer from chronic hayfever. Fluid changes in both ears with pregnancy number 1, then after birth of baby, ears resolved.

    In pregnancy number two, right ear felt to be partially blocked, and has not since resolved and now feels completely blocked.

    Strange feeling in the ear, often clicks.

    Have been a daily user of earbuds most my life?

    Few comments:
    1. Easy place to start- get rid of the cotton buds!
    2. Most of your symptoms sound like a problem with the tube that goes from the back of the nose to the ear. A GP can start you off on simple treatments, but failing that, an ENT can easily assess things further.
