    Yes, there are many alternative therapies for depression and anxiety.  My favourite are counselling, yoga (meditation, breathing, relaxation and postures) and naturopathy.

    Learning meditation/mindfulness methods, breathing exercises and CBT methods were all important in my recovery from clinical depression.

    Another approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - many clinical psychologists have experience of using ACT with their clients.
