    Common phobias include animals, insects, places and activities. Animals and insects include spiders, snakes, rats, dogs and some wild animals. Places could be the dentist surgery, hospitals, heights, lifts, open spaces, or enclosed spaces. Activities include flying, having injections or being in out a storm with thunder and lightening. Other phobias could be of dirt, germs or poor hygiene. Phobias could also be of social situations or being confronted by people you don’t know or being in a crowd.
