    What causes heart palpitations?

    I have been having heart palpitations and its feels like my heart is coming out of my throat, i have had an ECG and all is normal. What could be causing this?

    Any number of things can cause heart palpitations. Tachycardia can be related to an actual heart condition, or it could be that it is caused by anxiety.
    It could be caused by a diabetes episode, like a decrease or a raise in blood sugar levels. It can be caused by exercise, like extreme exercise, or maybe having a pre-asthma episode response to exercise.
