  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

What are these raised red spots are on my torso?

I started to get these spots, which start very minute and grow to a small very red raised spot. A few years ago I could count the amount on my torso but now there are way too many. I put a needle in one of them to see if it would drain of blood but it is solid. I have been to a skin specialist and he said it may be caused from eating spicy food, but that can't be true as other members in my family have the same spots and they don't eat spicy food. I'm worried that eventually I will look like a big red blob. What can I do and does anyone know what I am describing?
