    Where can I find help for this 16 year old severely depressed boy?

    16 year old boy with severe depression sometimes suicidal. Help needed.

    This boy has been ill for 12 months. He has seen two psychiatrists (one in melbourne and one in Frankston)
    and a phychologist but has not improved very much. We are very worried and would like to see a new Doctor on the Mornington Peninsula if possible.

    This must be very difficult for you. Our service is based in Qld and as such cannot help you to find particular services in other states. I would, however reccomend to visit The Beyond Blue Web Site.

    http://www.beyondblue.org.au/index.aspx  They have a new free on line and telephone service "Mind Spot' which is very well regarded amongse users. Off course I am not suggesting this is the only help this young man needs but it may be an adjunct to treatment. Many young people especially like on line services.
