Should I be concerned if there is blood after injecting methotrexate?

I use a syringe to inject my self weekly with methotrexate. tonight when injecting when I took the needle out and blood squited out everywhere and there was blood in the needle. I guess I hit a vein. should I be concerned about this? how can I prevent this from happening again as this is the second time it has happend thankyou
