    How can I help my daughter who experiences severe pain?

    She has Type 1 IDDM, Graves Disease and Coeliac Disease. She experiences a lot of pain, nausea, vomiting and is unable to eat. She is currently in hospital.

    Her sternum is enlarged and has an inflamed liver but all her blood work is normal.

    These cases are heartbreaking and so difficult for not only your daughter but all those that she is close to.

    I'm sure that the hospital team are doing all they can for her pain levels whilst she is in hospital. Her situation sounds confounding in that she has multiple abnormalities, although bloodwork is normal… I'm sure it has been said already, however, being positive around her and showing her as much support as possible may be the best thing you can do.
