  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

Is it possible that the endometriosis has returned?

I had a laparoscopy back in December and after that was told to do the continual pill thing. In the last month I have started to get pain again and it is quite bad and comes and goes when it feels like it. I am extremely tired. I have not had a period in about 4-5 months. Is it possible that it is back?

Given your history of surgery followed by hormone management I would suggest that you have a review with your specialist. It is possible that your current pain may be related to endometriosis however there can be other causes of pelvic pain.
