    Primary liver cancer is different from other cancers that spread to liver such as secondaries from bowel cancer or pancreatic cancer
    Primary liver cancer usually occurs in cirrhotic livers so avoidance of cirrhosis is the key - avoidance of excess alcohol, Hepatitis B or C which are the main causes of cirrhosis.
