    Thanks

My research interests include immunology and the mechanisms of amyloid formation. The latter has implications for people who are dealing with Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease … View Profile

Because amyloid diseases differ both in terms of the organ(s) affected and the nature of the amyloid-forming protein there is no general treatment for them.

If you have been diagnosed with an amyloid disease you should discuss treatment/management options with your GP and/or a relevant medical specialist.
