    How can i help my depressed partner?

    My partner is depressed, he had a messy breakup with his ex and is having problems coping with that and the not seing his kids as much ect. He recently told me it was all too much and wants to breakup with me. He still loves me and i still love him. I think he needs help with his depressin and that us breaking up wont fix his problems. I dont know how to help him or what to do now.
