Very common, I see foot injuries presented in my clinic on a weekly basis. This is especially more frequent in very physically active and athletic individuals. The best recommended treatment and assessment method is to assess the feet in conjunction with the knees, hips and lumbar spine. You cannot ignore these areas and treat the feet only. This is what makes chiropractic unique in that chiropractors are licensed to assess all areas of the body. We also recommend the performance of a digital scan which is conducted at our clinic in Gladstone which can very acurately detect abnormalities in the biomechanics of the feet.
