    Endometrial thickness after ablation

    Related Topic
I had an endometrial ablation in December 2018 due to heavy bleeding during periods. Starting in the summer of 2021 I began spotting pretty frequently. I have had three ultrasounds since then and my endometrial thickness has continued to increase at each scan. It is 12.51mm as of the most recent scan. I was unable to do an endometrial biopsy because of scar tissue. Is this thickness something I should be worried about?

To alleviate the bleeding my doctor is recommending a hysterectomy. I tried progesterone's pills, but the side effects were awful, and I never really had what I would consider a period after taking the pills.
