I suffer from severe congestion when I consume dairy. It takes about 1 day before the symptoms fully hit me. I use lactose-free milk and only have a coffee with milk now (but still a little bit of congestion). I have been like this since I was pregnant which was over 1 year ago.
Why is this happening? Should I just stop using milk and all dairy completely? It is really affecting my everyday function and doctors are saying it's just a cold?
I have such a sweet tooth and find it impossible to stay away from desserts (which I crave throughout the day!) I am slightly overweight and know that I should work on this habit… advice?
