Following a liver resection 12 months ago for suspected cancer, post-op pathology identified that I had follicular cholangitis. I understand this is a very rare condition with little information available. I have been prescribed a medication to reduce the inflammation of the biliary ducts with three-monthly check-ups. I also need a further operation to repair a double hernia resulting from last year's surgery.
What will my longer-term outlook likely to be regarding prognosis and/or treatment options?
