    It certainly depends on the nature of the hernia, location of the hernia, technique to be used to repair the hernia, current body composition, smoker or not and surgeon's experience.

    There are many surgeons who perform complex hernia surgeries as open surgery who may perform a type of abdominoplasty at the same time depending on the incision that is utilised.
