I injured myself and my MRI shows that I have an abnormality on the lateral aspect with partial thin discoid lateral meniscus and thickened cartilage overlying the lateral tibial condyle with some cartilage calcification or ossification. What does this mean?
I have been referred to an orthopaedic surgeon as physiotherapy is not helping. I am confused as the pain is on the inside of the knee yet injury is on the outside of the knee.
It is so heavy and is wondering if it's possible to change it to a fibreglass one and where would I go to get this changed. I'm going on holiday in 4 weeks and would feel better in a lighter cast.
