My hip X-ray indicates moderately severe osteoarthritis, narrowing of the medial and inferior medial hip joint spaces with associated subchondral sclerosis, inferior osteophytic lipping and degenerative cyst formation. It gives me grief when I overuse my hip and legs. I realise it will only get worse. Should I get a total hip replacement? Is there an alternative to surgery? -
