Shortness of breath on moderate exercise started 18 months ago but now is often on exertion around the house. All tests, HRLung CT Scan, Scan for blood clots and even a right Heart Cath done because I have an isolated DLCO of 51 - 54% on 3 different Lung function tests have not diagnosed the cause. It is getting worse. I'm concerned. Recently diagnosed with Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation to begin on Anti-Coags, and Flecainide very soon which my Cardiologist is prescribing. I am concerned the Flecainide may make the Dyspnea worse. Is this likely?
I had a baby 4 weeks ago and she is constantly full of mucous. Could she have cystic fibrosis? Does cystic fibrosis usually occur at birth or later into childhood?
