My 15 year old daughter has been diagnosed with PCOS. She has high androgen levels and exhibits some of the usual characteristics of this condition - including small and asymmetric breasts. She is currently taking birth control to correct hormone levels, however her breasts are not developing and one is markedly larger than the other. Is it possible to have her take more female hormone to aid with growth of breasts? I understand hormone therapy is not favoured to grow breasts after puberty, however is she at a stage where this is an option? With all the other outward physical markers of this condition that she has had to deal with, if there is something that can be done to help with this, it would most definitely improve her self esteem and self image.
