Are there any Australian stroke patients who have had success with perispinal injections?

I have heard that perispinal injections with Etanercept can reverse the effects of long term stroke-related disabilities.

My understanding is that Etanercept does not currently have approval for management of stroke-related health issues in Australia.

However, there is a local clinical trial which will assess its efficacy in this context; http://www.griffith.edu.au/health/menzies-health-institute-queensland/research/stroke .

Depending on the results of that trial, it might get approval.
