  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

How do I reconcile my wife with our 20-year old daughter?

Our 20-yr old daughter (Uni student and still dependent on us) has been very angry over the past few days.

Mainly, the hostility is directed towards her mother.

Unfortunately, her mother (my wife) has a very bad temper and get verbally abusive when angry. I can't get my daughter to tell me her problem.

This situation is getting my wife very upset and angrier by the day, I am very afraid she will eventually react in a way to cause irrepairable harm to our family, or she might force me to choose between her or my daughter (which I can't do).

What can we do? Please help.
