    Why am I experiencing pain 12 months after a Right Hemi-Colectomy?

    I had a Right Hemi-Colectomy 12 months ago and was diagnosed as T2N0M0 Stage I. I am due for a follow up colonoscopy in two weeks.

    I am still getting sharp pain around what I assume, must be the area of the cecum.

    I am assuming that perhaps it is wind passing through - but I thought the pain before the operation was wind as well.

    I am trying to remain calm but sometimes I have a total freak out just thinking about it. Any thoughts?
