    What caused my cirrhotic liver?

    There are many causes of cirrhosis. The most common causes in western society are alcohol, viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease. In a small proportion of patients, we may not identify a cause of cirrhosis. I would speak to your specialist about this if you have further questions.
