    There are many different Birth Control Pills on the markets.  Some Birth Control Pills will make it better, and some will make it worse.  When you discuss your Birth Control needs with your GP, mention that you are concerned about your acne so that you receive an appropriate Pill.

    The contraceptive pill can often help acne in women, especially if the acne flares before your period.
    Be aware that some women  however don't benefit, and can even have worsening of acne.
    Your doctor can recommend a good pill that is likely to help acne, as some are better than others
