    What could be causing my upper abdominal pain?

    For the last few weeks I have wave like pain in my solar plexus while I eat and after I eat. It is not unbearable but it is definitely uncomfortable. what could it be?

    I do have a history of reflux and was diagnosed with very early stage, superficial barretts esophagus in June last year which was removed successfully with argon plasma beam. Now taking PPI. Biopsies also showed some chronic gastritis. No ulceration. 1 stomach polyp removed and benign

    You need to bring this to the attention of your doctors, especially with regard to taking proton pump inhibitors.  This is obviously not to suggest that you stop them.  This review suggests the benefits outweigh the risks.

    Although research is conflicted food allergy can be associated with abdominal pain.  Coeliac disease is another possiblity.  I have patients who have done well, with abating of their symptoms, once foods to which they are reacting have been identified.
