    Your son may simply be someone who bruises easily or it may be a sign of something more serious such as a vitamin C deficiency or a blood disorder.

    If you are concerned about your sons bruising you should visit your GP.

    Brusing is often an indicator of Iron Deficiency, I would suggesta visit to your local GP and requesting a blood test for folate, iron, B12.

    I would bring him along to see your GP for some blood tests, if your GP thinks necessary. Toddlers do end up with a bit of bruising but your GP would want to see the number of bruises and extend of the bruising. We would usually screen for a number of blood disorders such as genetic lack of clotting factors or low platelet count.
